Application for Undergraduate Dormitory in Fall Semester 2021
Dear Students:
The applications for undergraduate dormitory for the fall semester of 2021 are about to begin. Please take note of the following:
- Eligibility: Undergraduate students who are NOT living in any of the On-Campus dormitory. Applicants and parents should have their household registry registered outside of Taipei City, New Taipei City for more than 2 years, or have their household registry registered in the following 10 districts of New Taipei City for more than 2 years: Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, Wanli, Ruifang, Gongliao, Shuangxi, Pingxi, Pinglin, and Wulai.
- Students who take a leave of absence are qualified to participate in the dormitory draw, but ones should re-enroll in school when you have been assigned to a room and are about to check in. If not, you will be disqualified from the application.
- Undergraduate students currently residing in BOT Prince House dorms are qualified to participate in the dormitory draw, but should they draw an on-campus dorm and must terminate their contract with Prince House early, they will be required to pay 1 month of rent for liquidated damages.
- Students currently residing in on-campus dorms whose term ends during the spring semester of 2021, and require further accommodation during the fall semester, should apply during this drawing. Please contact the Student Housing Service Division for the required permissions to apply.
- If applicants are unable to apply due to a change in household registry, please call or email the Student Housing Service Division, and apply to the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Division to change your household registry.
- When checking-in, a household registration transcript no older than three months must be verified. The transcript must include the applicant and both parents’ relocation history. If the transcript does not meet the eligibility requirements, your will be disqualified from the application.
- Application Dates: 10:00 AM on Monday, May 31, 2021 to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. (Late entry will NOT be accepted.)

- Applicants meeting the following conditions will receive priority, please upload the relevant documents during the application period:
- Students with a documented disability (requires copy of disability card)
- Low-income families (requires low-income certificate issued by county/city government, certificate must have applying student’s name); no accommodation fee but applicants will have to pay a deposit.
- Middle-low-income families may be exempt from 30% of accommodation fee, please attach certificate.
- Islander students and aboriginal students (requires household registration transcript)
- Students who have reached the end of their accommodation term (student ID starting with B06, Veterinary Medicine majors starting with B05, Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy majors starting with B04) can apply for accommodation, but will be placed behind the aforementioned priority applicants and students who have yet to reach their accommodation term. If applicants have reached the end of their term but have yet to graduate due to double-majoring, transferring, suspension or teacher education program, please upload academic transcript and other relevant documents to the application system. Your priority will be placed between applicants who have yet to reach the end of their accommodation term and other delayed-graduates.
- Application Results: The results of the draw and waiting list will be announced at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 16 on the Student Housing Service Division’s website. Please do not exchange draw results with other students.
- When applying, applicants may add their preference for either main-campus dorms or downtown dorms. If you are unwilling to be accommodated to such dorms, please do not add it to your preferences. The waiting list will be continued until December 7. Students may check on the website for up-to-date information regarding the waiting list.
- Students who wish to apply for Prince House dorms, please apply at Prince House’s website https://ntudorm.prince.com.tw from July 15 to July 25. On-campus dorms and Prince House dorms can be applied for and be put on the waiting list simultaneously and independently, however should applicants draw both at the same time, they may only choose one.
- Accommodation Term: The term limit for each student is the normal amount of years to graduate for each department, which is calculated using the applicant’s student ID, regardless of transfer or suspension. Ex: Department of Chinese Literature has a normal length of study of 4 years, so B09 students may be accommodated until the end of the 2023 academic year.
